#avantlink I started living in my 1991 Westfalia Volkswagen on February 1, 2011. It has been an adventure of life lessons and learning to live minimalisticly. On this youtube channel I aim to give you guys who are interested in this way of life some insight on what makes life easier living in a van. When I first got the idea to live in a van I thought it was impossible for a guy like me to accomplish such a thing. I was used to the typical american lifestyle. I had no clue what it took to live in a van. So I went to youtube and found just a mass of information and encouragement from other tubers that really gave me the confidence to do this. After 8 months of living in my van I had learned so much about it that I wanted to give back to the community and share with other people who are interested in this way of life some good motivation to live this lifestyle.
I had heard mention of Onion Creek in the Moab region several times. So I set out to do some research on the web about it’s details. Nothing online really hooked me enough to make up my mind about it. But fellow Youtube’r Jon with Code Brown Productions highly recommended it enough that I figured I better make the overland trek adventure out to go see what it was all about. And boy can I tell you that it did NOT disappoint AT ALL! It turns out that the Onion Creek trail is definitely on my top five trails in the Moab backcountry region.
